Have some memories of playing ball behind Washington School. Still recall Rich as having a very kind spirit about him - a really nice guy. Still feel it when I look at his photo in the yearbook.
I have wonderful memories of Rick. We worked on some joint science projects in school, hung out together and were in a rock band together in the late 60s. Rick played lead guitar and did a fine job at it. Miss him.
Ricky was a very good friend of mine. I actually took a day off when I was in Vietnam and paid him a visit in Phu Bai. After we both got out he came down to the University of Delaware to pay me a visit. To this day he's the only person I've ever discussed what we did over there...the disappointments and the futility...but also the sheer beauty of the countryside when we could allow our heads to forget why we were there. I miss him very much.
