I learned of Kevin's passing from from Irene Smoliga.  Kevin and I went to St Francis School together then to MHS together.  We shared so many fun times together especially all the Mets games we attended with the rest of our fluid group of fence climbers.  We lost touch during our college years but reconnected thanks to Facebook aound 8 or 9 years ago.  Shortly after we moved to St George UT he and Kathy were on a trip out west and stopped here.  I had dinner with them.  The evening was filled with stories back and forth between the 2 of us about our friendship and old adventures.  Kathy said she really enjoyed hearing our banter and being able to make a connection with Kevin's past through me.  He had brought our official big wide St. Francis School 8th grade picture with him showing all the boys and girls together (a rare happening)..  He gave it to me.  Quite a treasure.  When I walked with them back to their motel and my truck we took pictures of each other and she took pictues of Kevin and me together.  I will miss our shared emails and Facebook hookups.

I was very sad to hear Kevin passed away.  I was friends with him and his wife, Kathy, on facebook along with several other's from our class.  Judy Zimmerman had found out he was ill and later that he passed away.  Kevin was in several of my classes and I remember laughing a lot with him!  When Connie started the class website, I got in touch with so many people (thank you, Connie!) including Kevin.  He had Golden Retreivers , and I love dogs, so we shared a lot of correspondence over our dogs before becoming facebook friends.  I became  fb friends with his wife, Kathy, and enjoyed seeing the photos she posted- especially their wedding in Las Vegas!  Metuchen High School 1965 has lost another great person...

Kevin and I reconnected some years back after finding each other through Facebook.

Every few months we would catch up with each other on the phone,

it was a hilarious experience having a conversation with him and Kathy, his girlfriend and soon to be bride. They were a funny couple, finding fun in almost everything.

i was saddened to hear of his passing.

If I recall correctly, Kevin lived not too far from me. Saddened to become aware of his passing.

In high school Kevin was a fellow crazy New York Mets fan, which is how he and I became friends.  We reconnected a number of years ago via Facebook, which is how I also got to know his wife, Kathy. We kept in touch via this method, and I was shocked, and very saddened, to learn about his passing.

I was terribly saddened to hear of Kevin's sudden passing.

He and I have remain in contact ever since high school-sometimes sporadically and in recent years constantly, several times a week. He was one of the few people with whom I remained in contact over the years.

We would laugh about our high school misadventures, and I suppose as people are wont to do, I think of him as I rememebr him from those days.

I know that he was living a happy, joyous life with Kathy and I am happy for him that he had those years, but my heart breaks for Kathy.

Keviin was a good man, and good soul, and I will miss him.
