Jake ,that's what most of his friends called him , was a very caring person. Pete Munson (64) Jake and myself played and hung around Pete's house for as long as I can remember . When Pete passed away Jake looked after Pete's parents and helped them when necessary. He was more than a friend he was a angel !

I'll miss the conversations we had and memories  as playmates, classmates and most of all good friends.

I was very sorry to hear that Jake passed away.  He was a very nice guy and I enjoyed talking and laughing with him at the reunions he attended.  Sympathy to his family.

I was so sorry to see that Jake was added to our In Memory List.  I believe that Jake attended all of our MHS reunions and helped to make them a great success.  My sincere sympathy to his family.  Lynn Z

I was surprised an saddened to hear of Jake's passing.  I knew Jake through our years at MHS.  Shorty after my military service Sandy and I relocated to Arlington, TX losing contact with my Metuchen friends.  Sandy and I attended several of MHS reunions and always enjoyed visiting and talk with Jake, he was always happy and fun to share time with; we will miss seeing him.  Our prayers go out to his family for their loss.   Gary H

Surprised and saddened to hear of Jake's passing. We stayed in touch periodically on Facebook, and he always remained in my memory as the friend from high school.

Jake was a good guy, and he will be missed.
