Spent times with Ray while we walked to track practice at Roosevelt Park. The group usually was make up of Neil Wells, Tom Grillo ,Ray and myself and the discussions could be almost be about anything , girls to ducks. He'd laugh at about any joke that was cracked funny or not . His attitude toward life was carefree and alway tried his best when it came to track. His face always seem to have a smle ,  serious facial expressions didn't seem to last very long. He and Tom could make you laugh and bring out comments from John Cosell that made practice worth being there. The world needs more people like Ray he will certainly will be missed.

Dick,

Thank you for the kind words about my brother.  You're right about his sense of humor.  Even when he knew his time was short he still cracked jokes trying to make me laugh.  I can truly say, I have thought about him in someway everyday since his passing...memories, a joke, a prank, or teasing comment to his little sister.

Thanks again for remembering him.  He would like that!

Center St. Ray, next door to Uchrin and across the street from Pelly.  Mom & Dad, Ozzie and Harriet ( I can not make this up )  You had to truly know him to love him.  He had priorities in life that were quite different than the norm.  Extreme behavioral stories are common and probably mostly true, but do not recognize his true friendship.  He would have taken the bullet for you.

I still enjoy the times I have with his little sister Judy and her husband Geff Pace and our limitless recollections of a Metuchen icon.

We should all miss the Ray's in our lives.
